JMC has produced high purity Cobalt Metal since 1997. The production process was developed in-house based on JMC's unique electrolytic manganese dioxide technology developed at its facility in Takaoka, Japan.

Cobalt purity is guaranteed 4N5 (99.995%) minimum based on metallics. Higher purity grades, such as 5N (99.999%), are available on a limited volume basis to meet emerging customer demands for higher quality product.
